Making Waves: Taste the Atlantic Young Chefs #fote2023

Aged 23, Áine is a Kildare native and started working in the kitchen at the age of 17 at Dubh in Newbridge. Since then, she has studied Culinary Arts at TU Dublin and, in her six years of professional kitchen experience to date, has worked in some of Dublin’s most respected restaurant kitchens, including Delahunt, Franks Wine Bar Mae, Clanbrassil House, Bastible, and Lorettas. She has recently embarked on a Masters in Gastronomy & Food Studies at TU Dublin.

Áine was selected as a Taste the Atlantic Young Chef ambassador in 2023. Áine feels a deep connection the West coast having spent childhood summers on the coast of South Galway and North Clare, and is passionate about connecting with food producers. In addition to pursuing a love of food and cooking, Áine is a talented photographer, poet, and spoken word artist.
