David Kinch (@davidkinch), is the American Chef-Proprietor of Manresa, a restaurant in Los Gatos, California. David’s cooking philosophy is fostered by the terroir of the California coast, and the kind of ingredient-driven cooking and modern technique he studied in France, Spain, Germany, Japan, and the US. Manresa has been awarded two Michelin stars for nine consecutive years and has been named one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants by Restaurant Magazine. David is dean at The International Culinary Center, founded as The French Culinary Institute in 1984, and is a winner of the Best Chef in America award for the Pacific region from the James Beard Foundation as well as GQ’s Chef of the Year for 2011.
