Liana Robberecht (@chefLiana) recently moved into the role of Executive Chef at WinSport, after spending 18 years leading the kitchens of the Calgary Petroleum Club. Liana’s training began at the Northern Institute of Technolgy (NAIT).
Recently Liana was invited to participate in the 8th edition of Cook it Raw Alberta: The Shaping of A Culinary Frontier, with popular international culinary luminaries, to explore the possibilities of cuisine through tradition, creativity, collaboration and sustainability. Liana was also proudly named Chef of the Year in 2011 by the Alberta Foodservice Expo and Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice Magazine and was the recipient of the 2010 Golden Whisk Award from Women Chefs and Restaurateurs (WCR). Liana then went on to mentor and train some “up and coming” culinary talent who have appeared on Chopped Canada and Canada’s Next Top Chef. Liana is a regular contributor to CBC Radio’s Homstretch.
