Merroir : Sustainable systems.
Margaux Friocourt is a Parisian with a Breton background, based in Berlin since 2016, where she is an entrepreneur and has specialized in sustainable Fish & Seafood imports from Bretagne and Vendée. She has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Swiss Hospitality Management School of Glion and 2 Masters in Wine & Luxury Management.
By love of the French Terroir and Food culture she started to bring quality oysters to Berlin in 2017 for small natural wine events and started to see the opportunity to develop awareness and knowledge of French sea Terroir in Berlin and Germany.
Since 2018, she has been developing her own Import & distribution low impact and sustainable Fish & Seafood company. Fish Klub Berlin runs two shops, and a seafood bar and supplies to Berlin & Germany’s best restaurants that care about sourcing and marine resources. Fish Klub Berlin advocates for better sustainable practice in Fish sales & consumption, a topic that is not prioritised enough in kitchens and shops. More than a passion, Fish Klub Berlin is the result of time, knowledge, joys, exchanges, interviews, challenges and hours of meeting suppliers and chefs to learn, discuss, eat, cook, talk, share and all the beautiful things the ocean can bring.
