
Nathan Thornburgh is an Emmy-nominated foreign correspondent, podcaster and publisher. He co-founded the independent media company Roads & Kingdoms with food writer Matt Goulding in 2012 Anthony Bourdain joined as an investor and partner shortly thereafter, calling R&K “his soul brothers” and “the future of travel media”. R&K and Bourdain collaborated on a trilogy of food-obsessed travel books, as well as The Trip podcast, multiple award-winning mini-documentary series, and the Explore Parts Unknown digital project with CNN. Prior to Roads & Kingdoms, Thornburgh spent a decade as a foreign correspondent and editor at TIME Magazine after a brief and brutal career as a failed musician.
