A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America – with 2 gold medals from The American Culinary Federation – Chef Prateek Sadhu has staged at restaurants such as Alinea, The French Laundry, and Le Bernardin, followed by a tour of some of Europe’s Michelin-starred restaurants and a stint at Noma, where Sadhu was inspired to both regionally and seasonally. He later returned to India as chef at Le Cirque, Bangalore, before moving to Mumbai to head the team at Masque.
Masque has blazed a trail through India’s culinary landscape, garnering a reputation for constant innovation and numerous accolades along the way. Its commitment to sustainability saw Masque ranked among the top 10 on Food Tank’s 2016 list of restaurant innovators in the world. In December 2017, he was named Chef of the Year at the Conde Nast Traveller Top Restaurant Awards, and in 2018, Masque was ranked 5h among the country’s best restaurants.
