Sarah Browne

Sarah Browne grew up on a dairy farm outside Listowel, North Kerry. She spent her childhood either covered in muck in the yard helping her father or covered in flour in the kitchen helping her mother. Over the years, albeit with a few twists & turns, working in food remained consistent. In 2021 Sarah was selected to become one of the first “Taste the Atlantic Young Chef Ambassadors” which combined her love for the outdoors & the kitchen. She has worked in a wide variety of food outlets, including, Cava Bodega, co-owned by Chef JP McMahon & she will soon host a pop-up at his Michelin-starred restaurant, Aniar. She is passionate about sustainable food & farming & will graduate with a BA in Botanical Cuisine (TUD) with First Class Honours at the end of this month. July 2023, Sarah founded culinary events company, Oysome, focused on celebrating Irish Oysters bringing them together with great Irish produce. Sarah is now undertaking a master’s programme in Applied Nutrition (TUD).
