Soenil Bahadoer

Hospitality is Key for Soenil. This is because of his youth. On his 8 years he came from from Suriname to The Netherlands. His grandparents are from India , Soenil is Hindoe. The whole day long we we were cooking and eating. Everyone was welcome. It’s just part of our culture. Family, friends, everything was shared. This has made me who I am today. It’s the key philosophy of our restaurant.
I never learned how to cook at school but everything I knew came from my mother. I translate this today, after very difficult years , in my kitchen. By working damn hard I achieved the 2nd michelinstar. Never give up ! Never! Next to that I see it as my mission to teach these values to every young chef.
